State and Local Drinking Water Information

Many people considering using bottled water coolers or dispensers are concerned about the quality of drinking water in their state or local area.

The Environmental Protection Agency requires entities supplying drinking water to states to provide consumer confidence reports on the source and quality of their water. Reports from each state, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rick are available from the EPA.

The links below will take you to a page for each state that provides links to the EPA state and local drinking water information reports and to the agencies in each state responsible for overseeing public drinking water.
